Original Founder Members

In September 2019, in anticipation of growing the sport of croquet, Rob and Linda Penhall      started a second croquet club in East London, Eastern Cape.

Happily, from the get-go, the club grew positively which led to an amalgamation with the now 79 year old Typos Bowls Club, hence TYPOS CROQUET CLUB was born.

The membership is growing slowly but surely and all “new to croquet” members have                  successfully reached competition level.

Playing times are:

• Wednesday 11:00 am
• Saturday 1:30 pm
• Sunday 11:00 am

Guests are more than welcome to join the teams for a game or two, or alternatively, for those interested in taking up the sport, Rob and Linda are available for training sessions. Practice equipment (mallets etc.) are available on the day at no cost.
