I think we can be very proud of our team. They were placed 3rd in their block, behind England and Wales. The quarter final was played against Jersey and they managed to win 2-1 to get through to the semi-finals.

Unfortunately this was against England! They tried hard and at one stage William was well ahead of Chris Clarke, one of the top 3 in the world, but one little slip and Chris Clarke took over and finished.

Victor did very well by winning his match against Ivor Brand, who is also highly ranked.. In the end the score was 2-1 to England.

Tomorrow SA play Canada for 3rd place and the final is between England and Scotland.
