Not much time left now before the “big guns” get to do what they do best at The Rainbow Trophy, with a sponsorship from Bonnievale wines, starting on Saturday 5 March 2022 at SWCC. Hosted at Somerset West CC from the 5th to 11th March under the auspices of SACA, the Rainbow Trophy promises to provide some exciting competitive GC. The inaugural event of Open Doubles and Open Singles has attracted some excitement from both overseas and locally. 

Reg Bamford, Charles Barlow, Victor Dladla, Neil McHardy, William Louw, Lionel Tibble, David Wise and Chris Roberts to mention a few of the competitors. 

Ten top class doubles pairs will be taking each other on for the first two days of the Rainbow Trophy….Bamford/Barlow, Louw/Hanekom, Tibble/Wise, Roberts/Colman, Dladla/Makhubo, Boyd/Tomes, Turnbull/Malenga, Field/Davies, Moore/Johnson and Dreyer/Short.
